Meals served 4 days a week, please join us for lunch!

Although OSC membership is encouraged, a reminder is given to each and all that the meal program provided by Okanogan County Transportation and Nutrition is open to the public and  membership is not required to enjoy lunch with others.  Meals are supplied for a suggested donation of $4.00 for seniors 60 years and older, and a fee of $10.00 for those under 60. I've been hearing lots of great compliments: a very clean kitchen and a renovated dining room, new chairs and lighting, good food, and awesome salads!

Another reminder; if you would like to provide valuable information our seniors should have, or you have a skill to entertain our seniors with, we would love to hear from you. Leave a message at 476-2412.

Steve is asking for your input on menu selections. OCTN does have nutritional requirements that must be met, but suggestions from diners on what may be too often on the menu, or not being served often enough, or should be on the menu would be appreciated.  Oroville and Tonasket have the same meal plan every day so ideas come from both centers. Fall is coming, I vote for soups! Lots of soups!

Menus for Thursday Aug 24 - Meatloaf with Mac & Cheese;: Friday Aug 25 - Bacon and Egg Salad Sandwich on a Croissant; Monday Aug 28 - White Bean Chicken Chili with a Pasta Veggie Salad; Tuesday Aug 29 - Cheeseburger Deluxe and Three Bean Salad. A reminder that substitution of a menu or an item on a menu occasionally is necessary. Please call 476-2412 anytime after 9:30 if you would like to confirm the menu with the kitchen staff.

And last but definitely not least our Pinochle scores for Aug 19 were HIGH: Ted Paris and LOW: Nita Likkel.
