New this month, meals now served on Mondays

Menus for Thursday July 27 - Country Fried Steak and Mashed Potatoes; Friday July 28 - Pork Stir Fry with Rice; Monday July 31 - Chili with Cheese & Onions. Also included with each meal are salad, bread, and dessert. Meals are offered for a suggested donation of $4.00 for over 60 years young and fee is $10.00 for under 60 years. Come in and enjoy the meals as membership is not necessary to participate in the OCTN food program offered at the center. Meals are served promptly at 12:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Center opens at 10:30 on meal days for social gathering. A one hour exercise class is offered on Tuesday and Thursday before the meal.

We have a mystery that needs to be solved.  If you have any idea, or knowledge of, please let one of our board members know.  A beloved member purchased a cue stick from another beloved member many years ago. It was removed from it's case at the center and “borrowed without permission”. In the following week, the case was filled with a similar stick but not the cherished stick. The cherished pool cue needs to be back in the hand of our member who misses it dearly.  My hope is it was a mistake that can be corrected with or without confession.

Pinochle players are still enjoying Saturday night games. Scores for Saturday June 22 were HIGH: Ted Paris, LOW: Darlene Firpo, and most double pinochle's goes to Ted Paris. They are still wanting new players and the facility is nice and cool. There is plenty of room for other card or board games.  Anyone want to start playing cribbage, or checkers, or chess, or dominoes? Gather your friends and lets utilize our center!
