COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE APRIL 20TH 10-2

This is our opportunity to showcase the newly renovated facilities available to our community. Oroville Senior Community Center will recognize our 2023 donors at 11:30 who helped our center become the fantastic facility that it is. Enjoy food prepared by Chef Steve Snyman, music from 12-2 by local artist Clay Warnstaff, and a raffle draw at 1:45. We are thankful to Veranda Beach for their donation of the Grand Prize of 2 nights in a 2-bedroom cottage at Veranda Beach Resort! Additional prizes will be raffled.

Our seniors have voted! 2024 Senior of the Year: Marilyn Perry and our May Day Royalty: King Jim Baird and Queen Shirley Moser. Congratulations to all of you, you represent us beautifully and we thank you.

Our meal program is provided to the public through Okanogan County Transportation and Nutrition and is offered to seniors 60 and over for a suggested donation of $5.00 and for those under 60 a fee of $12.00. Meals are served promptly at noon 4 days a week, come early and socialize. For those who have said, “I should go” but haven’t, the first paragraph is your chance to come enjoy our open house and get to know us!

Menu for Thursday Apr 11 - Beef Stew, Biscuit and Green Salad: Friday Apr 12 - Fish & Chips, Coleslaw and Cheesy Garlic Toast: Monday Apr 15 - Yankee Pot Roast, Roasted Potatoes & Carrots and Mixed Greens Salad: Tuesday Apr 16 - Chicken Caesar Salad, Focaccia Bread and Fresh Fruit: Thursday Apr 18 - Corn Chowder, Ham and Cheese Sandwich and Pea Salad.

Pinochle scores for Saturday April 6, HIGH: Len Firpo and LOW: Barb Cline. Our Pinochle players meet every Saturday evening at 7:00 and invite any players to join them.
