Dining Room Upgrades

Upgrades are in progress with new corkboards added to the front of the room to allow for additional communication space. The boards which were not particularly accessible at the ends of the tables on the north wall have been relocated. Literature racks have been placed on the front desk to help with the organization and accessibility of important communications for our seniors. Additionally, a new lockbox for a more secure self-service drop-off for membership fees/forms and donations has been conveniently placed on the west wall near the door. Hopefully this will reduce the confusion around which donation box is for the Senior Center. The newly stripped and waxed floors in the dining room have made a huge difference. Much cleaner! Relocation of some of the artwork & the addition of new photography by a member of the Oroville Senior Center (thank you Gloria!) will freshen up the look for lunch attendees and members alike. The new graphic of the Senior Center ‘motto’ above the kitchen windows is a reminder to all to ‘Eat Dessert First’.
